I am hoping that some of you Hoyt shooters can help me. I picked up a NIB Hoyt Havotec target bow with the following cams;

Lower cam has EC-6.5R stamped on it
Upper wheel has DTIDL-5 stamped on it

It is a single cam type set-up similar to a mathews. I went to the hoyt website, but they do not list this cam set up as a current option. What is the name of this cam set-up and is it possible to buy an identicle set and change an existing Havotec over to this style cam?

I like the bow, and will probabally shoot it at 3D's this summer. I would like to build an identicle Havotec for hunting, but can't find one with the single cam set-up

You have an Excel Cam...

...which the "EC" stands for

"6.5" for 29" draw

"R" for right-handed

Hoyt discontinued manufacture of them in 2002.

You might find some from the nice folks here on the AT forums!
