Yes, use the truglo stand. I have the go Stix as well and your lower cam has to sit on the ground for your rig to balance with the go Stix. I use a 12 inch front bar in the lower mounting hole and can set the front of the stabilizer and truglo stand on the ground and keep my cam out of the dirt and whatever. Go Stix are a good idea but there are better less expensive options for sure!
The disconnect has a slight weight to it but the two removable carbon kickstands weigh next to nothing. Wouldn’t change the balance of the bow if you used them shooting or not.
I would say somewhere between 200 and 300 grams (sorry too lazy to unmount and put in on a scale ˆˆ)
I'm using them along with the 8" pro series stab.
The annoying thing about the Go Stix is the fact that the weight of the bow naturally wants to unscrew the bolt to the riser. I've used loctite, we'll see if this doesn't fix the issue.
Otherwise, I'd hope that Hoyt releases that Matthews looking one so I can buy it..
Late to the party but, save your cash, Go Stix aren't worth it IMO. I run a 15" Cutter and the truglo stand for $15 is miles better, cam out of dirt and very stable. On a VTM34
I do not know the weight and am too lazy to Google. I have a set and shoot with them my RX-7 Ultra. I don’t notice they are on. They work great and are awesome when you’re outside or even inside.
I love go-stix. They're so light that you don't notice them and they work. I buy my bows to hunt and could care less if the cam sits on the dirt.
