My brother texted me this morning that he broke the limb on his Trykon XL, 70 lb limbs and he handles it like its a toy. He wants to compare some 80# vs 70# limbs. I was able to find on the Hoyt website that it takes XT500 limbs but couldnt find any mention of what deflection is needed. Anyone know or have a source you could post up here? It is a 31" draw if that makes a difference.

Hoyt will tell him what he needs if he calls them on Tuesday. He will need to know what cam and what cam size he has on the bow and then they can give him deflection numbers for 70 or 80 lb max limbs.

Ive seen a list of some kind before on here that had all of the applications for each of the limbs with various deflections. Anyone got that link?

Comparing the def chart and the Hoyt tune charts I'd think that a def of about 90-92 is going to produce 70# with those size cams. But you could just pull them off and look at the deflection numbers that are written on the limbs inside the pockets.
