Is it possible to build up a Matrix with some spiral cams? Has anyone done it, will it work? Just looking for a little speed, I am vertically challenged.

I believe that you would have to change the limbs. Therefore you would have to change limbs, cables, cams, and the limbs would have to be really high deflection in order to get you poundage back. I have no Idea what this would do to brace hieght. I think this has been done though if you search for a post entitled Carbon burner you will see a matrix or element with spirals.

Spirals are designed for the xt2000 and longer limbs. You can shoot them on the shorter limbs but they are not as efficient.

I would think it'd be faster with Z3 or Vector cams than with SX cams.

I believe I saw a Z3 conversion done on a Matrix, was done by a member on here called Breathn. Maybe contact him for some info. He puts out some sweet rigs...
