I am looking at buying a new bow and I realy like the hoyt maxxis, but I cant decide if I should get the 31 or 35. I shoot 3-D, hunt elk and whitetails.

I have a 27" draw length and I draw 70lbs.

with that short of draw the 31..

I asked the same question at my local pro shop. They told me I should go with the maxxis 31. My DL is 26 1/2.

I shoot 28 and went with the 35 and really like it a lot. You can't go wrong with either one.

I am an elk hunter too and I've started counting ounces. I simply need to shed weight so I went with the 31. I've got to drop weight any way I can.

I am a 26.5" and I would prefer the 35, but they don't make it shorter than 27"...
