Hello my name is Brian and I am new to archery talk and forums in general so please be patient with me!
I have recently acquired a Hoyt pro medalist 4pm 62" recurve bow and know very little about it! If some one could educate me on how to read the rest of the numbers on this bow I would appreciate it very much! It says 62" 4pm 662-30#.
I don't want to get in trouble with my first post to this sight so I feel I should state first that I am not attempting to sell this bow in the forum section! I know there is a classifieds section to list it in ! That being said the reason I won't to know this info is so when I do post it to the classifieds I won't make a fool out of myself for not representing it correctly in my add and becoming the next big joke on the forums! Lol.
Part of what I need to know is how do I evaluate the condition of the bow and what common problems that people look for?
Thank you in advance to any who reply!!! Please forgive me for spelling errors also!! Lol.

Can't remember what the 4pm etc mean but the 62" is the overall length and the 30# is the draw weight at 28" Take some photos and post them up if you want to get an opinion on condition etc ,,Randy

Hi. I can add some information. Hoyt made 6 Pro Medalist models. The first model didn't include the 'pm' number. The other models had numbers 2-6pm. You have the 4th model. I have one of the 5th.
As far as condition, cracks across the limbs are dangerous. I would also check for curved limbs and damaged limb tips.
I didn't see any spelling errors.
