Hoyt RX4 Alpha, Love the bow, hate the grip.

Just wanted to share something I've done with my new bow that might help others with the same issue. I've been a Hoyt shooter since they made the Viper tec, my last bow was a 2017 Spyder FX which still had the 180 grip which I really like and can be changed with the custom Jager grips. I recently bought a RX4 Alpha and really couldn't get used to the new grip system they've went to, the bow just seems to wobble at full draw. So I decide to experiment and use my dremel to cut grooves in the Jager grip and added some shims to the insides to make it fit firm, drilled the same hole as the original and it fits tight and solid. I absolutely love the bow now and I'm steady as a rock at full draw. I think it would be great if Hoyt or someone with more fabricating skills then me would make a plate that would replace the original that you could just bolt to the riser and add the jager or 180 Hoyt grips using the 2 side screws. If anybody is interested in making something nice I would be interested in buying some. Any thoughts?

I am with you on the grip. I have a RX3. Love the bow but couldn't get used the grip. Always felt like it was wobbling. I was ready to sell it and look for something new. Decided to give Sugru moldable glue a shot. Molded a "wedge" onto the factory grip that gave me a higher wrist and fit my hand better. My consistency improved 100%.
