Hi all, I'm new to target archery and about to complete my beginners course here in the UK.

I have started to look at the different risers and limbs available out their to make a decision on what to buy once I know my specs etc.

The one riser that keeps cropping up is the Hoyt Satori. Now for a newbie archer I'm not sure if this is off the scale or what... I noticed this bow has a shelf arrow rest. From what I research this is not something a newbie should really be using for a first setup. So instead I wondered how easy it is to replace this shelf with an arrow rest?

If I am totally wrong for looking at this riser, could you please recommend me some alternatives. Unlike most products online, I feel the descriptions for archery gear are incredibly vague and the low amount of unbiased reviews doesn't make things any clearer for me.

Please let me know what you guys think if you can point me in the right direction.

Many thanks!
