Anybody here use a golf cart for hunting? After seeing pics of some customized ones, I’m thinking about getting one. Trying to decide gas or electric. I’m thinking electric, I’ll mostly just be using it around my property at the house to check cameras, haul stands and deer. What do you guys prefer? Have any of you upgraded controllers and motors? Is there a certain kind of golf cart that would be better to upgrade and lift? Any pics of your carts?

I upgraded mine a few years back with a programmable Alltrax controller. I can change speed and torque as needed. It wasn't cheap but my cart goes everywhere I need it to go. 2003 TXT 36V with 6" jakes lift kit, upgraded cables and stock motor. You may want to check out Buggies Gone Wild, I learned a lot from the members there.
