Anybody here use a golf cart for hunting? After seeing pics of some customized ones, I’m thinking about getting one. Trying to decide gas or electric. I’m thinking electric, I’ll mostly just be using it around my property at the house to check cameras, haul stands and deer. What do you guys prefer? Have any of you upgraded controllers and motors? Is there a certain kind of golf cart that would be better to upgrade and lift? Any pics of your carts?

I have a 2015 Yamaha Drive G2 Gas cart that I lifted and put some mud tires on. put a cheap $50 harbor freight winch on the front and fabricated a rear seat and deck on the back. Love it. My buddy has an electric we did the same to. The only advantage to the electric is quietness. My gas will go more places with more power up hills and i don't worry about plugging in every night or buying $1,000 worth of batteries every few years. We go to illinois and Kentucky every year and always take mine due to the power issue. We leave it at the farm at night. I'll try and remember to post a pic this evening when I get home. Ocelot tires off Amazon was what I went with for mud grips. Never take my four wheeler hunting anymore. I have hauled 10 bags of corn and 3 guys on mine and never had an issue.
