Hey all,

Just moved to the ocean state and have been hearing the coyotes at night. I looked over the regulations about hunting public land and it seems very restricted. Does anyone have a coyote problem on their land and care to let another responsible hunter try and manage it?

What do the locals have to say about bow hunting coyote and whitetail around here?

There are some big deer here for sure, but good luck gaining permission to hunt private, especially south county. State land is hit hard come Nov 1st and the guns are in the woods for almost 2 straight months. Hunt early and look at the smaller less known managment areas down south, there are a number of them as well as the bow hunting only areas. If you are lucky enough to gain some private ground do what you must to hang on to it, because that is were it's at around here to consistantly see animals.
