From the southern tip of Ohio all up the eastern border there are GREAT places. Wayne National Forrest has a lot of thick,deep and swampy areas that would pay off good, if your willing to get into it that much, just make sure you get a map.
I live in hocking county and can tell you the hunting this year has been great around the Wayne national,last year for some reason was not,the licking county area is also great or anywhere in the central to southeast are always good but it can be rugged I'm some places.
Any ohio hunters know anything about the public land around Tappan Lake or the Egypt wildlife area and land around Piedmont Lake. Going to this area 2nd wk of Nov. for a first time Ohio hunt and could use help....thanks
