Has anyone tried hunting subscription boxes? HuntVault, TacPac, etc…
Worth it? Which one do you recommend?
or are they too good to be true type of thing?

My wife did huntvault for me this year for my birthday. It was a sweet thought but the company made it a nightmare stuff in the boxes was decent stuff for the most part but boxes would always be a month to two months late .

I don't think the value is there from the ones I have seen and I have what I need/want for the most part. Check camofire and get what you want at great discounts.

I already have all the stuff in the hunt vault pics, goal zero, worksharp, electronic muffs, onx, thermacell...I sure don't need a spare of these...maybe its a good option for someone just starting out though.

I tried a fly fishing one but what I found was it would be great for someone young or beginning to fish but once you’ve somewhat honed your craft you realize it’s mostly cheaper items or stuff you would never use. With the stuff I see in the hunt boxes, it’s the same. Sure you might get a cool knife or some snacks or something but you will have a lot of stuff being stuffed in drawers.

I did 12 months of HuntVault and wasn't disappointed. Vortex binos, wireless stealthcam, Bog Clandestine camera, Ameristep (I think) ground blind, hammock, camping pillow,a few fantastic knives, bunch of gun cleaning items, turkey decoy, Paracord, bow hanger are the things I can remember that I actually use. I will eventually use everything just haven't had a need yet.
