I wanted to post a quick message to warn other to stay away from this HuntingLocator.com. I was trying to get some help with locating a potential hunting spot and thought I would give there 7 day free trial a shot. I located a potential property on there website but realized I needed to pay the 12.99 a month fee to actually get any info. I thought why not so I entered my credit card info and thought I could cancel after I'm finished using this service for the month. To my surprise I have been charged 149.99 on my credit card and I have tried everything to get ahold of them but nothing.

Along with that the couple messages that were sent to property owners on inquiries have no response. I'm really starting to question if this company is real?

Anyway it's been a week with emails and phone calls and nothing from them. I just wanted to warn others to be cautious of Hunting Locator.com

With all respect to the OP, I just looked and the site offers 1) a free 7-day trial that you can cancel anytime, 2) a $12.50/month membership that says nothing about canceling, or 3) a $349 annual membership for all the bells and whistles.

I hate that there was confusion, but I'm not sure the company misrepresented anything. (I don't know a single thing about them, for the record.)

Exactly like you said “you don’t know a single thing about them” which means you have never dealt with them so why your throwing your opinion around is beyond me. Hunting locator is a complete scam. They will do exactly like the first fella on here said, they lure you in by sounding very reasonable and soon as you enter your card number your done. Your only option at that point is to cancel that credit card because there a scam an they will keep taking money and you can not get ahold of them because they don’t want you to. So until you give them your credit card number an let them do what they do don’t tell me there not a scam.

This company was created to help hunters locate hunting property. With the $149 spent for the yearly membership you would think there would be a little communication on there end. I'm being ghosted and I'm just trying to let other know my experience. I'm starting to wonder if a lot of the properties they have listed are not even available.

Anyway buyer beware.

The same thing happened to my husband. It’s been a month and they don’t return calls and the land owners don’t return messages. They told him he could pay an additional $500 and they would find him a lease with their resources.

Same for me. Been hunting a lease. Signed up a month ago and they’ve not added a single new lease to their site in my state since signing up. Buyer beware.

I was checking it out just a minute ago. I noticed it said in small print that the $12.99 per month was billed annually, so I clicked on the monthly and the rate was $25.99 per month if you do not sign up for an annual membership. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. They have a "premium" for $450 and I was actually trying to see if that was like a lifetime thing or what when I found your review here. This post you made is quite old so I am curious how it turned out for you? Did you find another website you would recommend?
