My draw is a bit shorter than 28" average also. I have found that Bear makes a nice adjustable bow that's comfortable on shorter draws. There are several brands that claim they can be adjusted, but after shooting a few I realize that they are really built for longer draws and have the ability to only shorten draw length, and not a good feel or fit. I'm 30, and until a few months ago I was shooting the Apprentice bow, currently I am experimenting with a different bow, but have found that it is not near what the Bear is. Several deer and one Aoudad later, it's still my favorite to shoot. Sure it's a youth bow, but with the right arrow and broadhead, it's a game-ender. My 2 cents worth anyway.
