I bought the Bear Execute 32... and it is an awesome bow

I do a crazy thing once in a while and buy a bow without ever trying it. So it was with the Bear Execute 32. I liked the looks and the specs so I just went for it.

Mine is a 60lb max in old school Mossy Oak Bottom Land. The fit and finish is very well done. The draw cycle is smooth with just a little hump right near the end.

You can set the let-off at 75, 80, 85, or 90 percent. I found 85% to be to my liking.

The bow is very easy to shoot well. I am currently on an out of state hunt and had it shipped to me where I am hunting. I installed my peep with my bow medic press. I eyeballed the rest location and test shot it. I must have gotten it pretty close because my consistency is good with no irratic flight. I am treestand whitetail hunting and my shots will be no more than 30 yards.

The shot is shock free, but the noise level is a bit more than I would like. I put a set of string leaches in and they helped immensely. I think the rubber on the string stop is too hard making a buzz. I will remedy that soon enough.

I have owned several Bear bows in the past decade. In my opinion, this is the best bow Bear has ever produced. I would put it right up there with the top manufacturers. Besides the Bear, I currently own a Hoyt Ventum 30 Pro and a RX7. I can honestly say I like the Execute 32 as well as the Hoyts. I have never been a "Hoyt Guy" until shooting the new binary cam system. It is fantastic.... but that's another story...

I do wish bow companies would get away from using giant white limb lettering on camo hunting bows...

That is how I bought my bow. It was at the shop and the price was good so I bought it with out thinking much about it. Any way for a beginner like me I could spend the entire summer looking at videos and evaluating the bows but I am not that kind of a guy. I just go for it!
By the way if you do not like the white letters on the limbs why do not you just color them with something or better yet use camo tape and go over them. Maybe you can complain to the bear manufacturer and hope they send you custom limbs?!

Nice looking bow. I sure like my Alaskan.

Thanks for the compliments and well wishes. Just thought I'd share a little. The graphics don't really bother me, i just think it would look better with black or maybe tan. The more I shoot it the more I like it. I shot my RX7 after the Bear today, and I like the Bear better.

In a semi-related story, I bought the Trophy Ridge VRSA Light quiver. I wasn't initially too thrilled with it. But! When I realized at dark I had forgotten my headlight, those green led lights on the hood of that quiver made the walk out much nicer. I also bought a Redline RL2 single pin sight. It is lighter than the sight I had on it and allows the quiver to pull in a good bit closer to the bow
