but it was the best tasting jerky I have ever had in my life :D :D


Anyone else ever pulled that sin off before?? :darkbeer:

I make jerky out of any part I can get my hands on. The hindquarter roasts make pretty freakin awesome jerky too. :)

Yeah I usually make my jerky out of the roasts as well. I just got the urge to try some pure meat with no gristle in it for jerky...lol. It was awesome :)

You have, indeed, sinned, my son. DEEEEEEEPLY sinned... For thy penance, go forth and take another deer... a yearling female(about 50 pounds). Bring it home and prepare the backstraps properly. Chicken fry them, or wrap them in bacon and grill them. Roast the hind quarters, grind the shoulders and make jerky of the neck. Only then will you be restored. Remember, sin is pleasant only for a season.
