Dude...you have been on a wild buy and try spree. I hope this one works out well for you.
I know. I sold the cloud infinity and just put my Cruzr up for sale. I will run with the dryad and the Latitude. That's it...mark my words Alaska at Heart...no more saddles for me this year!

I’ve have limited saddle experience , I’ve sat in several of my friends and compared to those the method 3 it is in a league of its own ! It is very comfortable I spent 3 hours in it the other day with 0 hot spots ! In single panel mode u really don’t even know u got it on . With the panels down it’s like sitting in a padded chair ! It’s really that nice !

I'm going to sound crazy for saying this, but when I was in it outside, it had a relaxing, almost calming sensation to it. I know that sounds weird and will probably be about the most hippie thing that ever comes out of my mouth, but I can't really describe it any other way.

It is definitely a different experience , the draw string design with that very strong magnetic band , that thing pops into place like standing at attention ! I had purchased a tethrd ultra loc and I hated the elastic in the panels in was a poor design and I had some severe hip pinch in less than 30 minutes ! This method 3 feels like air when u got it on ! The quality is on another level it looks like a full custom rig !

Don’t feel bad. I did the same thing! Should be here tomorrow. I just looked at it in Scheels and said I gotta have this! I ordered it the next day. Can’t wait!
Well, I don't have kids, I don't smoke, drink, or gamble...what else am I going to spend my money on?

I just bought one too! It was so comfortable leaning off the tree they had set up at the local bow shop, there was no way I was leaving without it lol

Same here, and others have commented the same thing also.

It could explain why people like to sway in them and you have to fight that (rock a bye baby and kid in tire swing effects), but I think it is more than that.

You are being supported the entire time and you cannot fall out of it and into your safety harness.

In my hang on and climber days, I was not afraid of heights (other than the normal, rational self-preservation amount...like respecting a firearm) and wore a harness the whole time. However, I knew that I had to balance on that little piece of metal all day or risk falling onto my harness and having to self-rescue, which could be dangerous and at least not fun or comfortable. On all day rut sits, after like 8 hours, that level of vigilance/anticipation would make me a little psychologically tired. I'd sometimes get the sensation of "what am I doing balancing on basically a folding chair or something strapped 20 feet up a tree?" and I would sometimes want to get down. And after a 12 hour sit, I would be tired and the last few hours kind of stunk.

Now, I'm still careful with the saddle, but with how I build my ropes and the gear I use and how I check it and how I back everything up, I am close to totally relaxed in the tree. Also, the saddle is more comfortable to me. So, after an all day sit, I get down feeling good and don't have any of that weariness I described before. Also, if tired, I was always afraid of falling asleep in a normal stand and falling, versus in the saddle I've leaned against the bridge and rested my eyes (not fallen asleep) and with my balance points I know if I were to briefly nod off that nothing would happen.

Spot on...you explained it much better than I did!

How breathable or absorbant does the padding seem in it? I was looking hard at it and I like the idea of the padding, but held off so far because I wasn't sure that I would like the padding while walking in and out. From pics and videos it looks like it would be hot on a long walk in and had potential to soak up sweat and take a while to dry - not what I really want for back to back hunting days or a few days in a row.

I don't wear my saddle in so that is a moot point for me, but yes I think it will be warm and potentially soggy if you work up a good lather. It's also heavier than all the other saddles I've tried. If you are a minimalist, it may not be for you. It's fairly robust and doesn't pack down very small.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. It looks crazy comfortable, but I don't think it's going to work for me.

I’ve had it on two different times now at the shop, and this crossed my mind. However, I don’t see it sucking up a bunch of sweat and making a big old mess. Could be wrong, but I don’t think that’s the case. It looks pretty breathable to me. Either way, it’s so comfortable, I don’t care!

I don’t think you’re going to have to worry about it soaking up sweat ! The structure built into it makes it so comfortable walking , I didn’t know I had it on ! I was hanging in it again today and I’m really glad I made the purchase ! It’s going to be hard to beat on the comfort level !

This is a very true statement guys! As I said, before, they had that method 2 sitting right next to the demo tree and as soon as I got it on, it was so blatantly awful, I still can’t believe that was the best saddle on the planet, that I could find up until the 3 hit last week.
I’ll give some free advice ! bUY ONE u can thank me later !
