I'll be heading out tomorrow AM looking to shoot one last deer. Upon checking the weather, it looks like it's going to be about-5F out. And I'm going to try sitting in a makeshift ground blind for the first time ever in my hunting career. The only saving grace and what I'm banking on is that the last 2 morning sits I've had deer coming in by 9am. Wish me luck.

Good luck David and I see no reason not to go for it! Dress right, stay out of the wind in that blind and use Hot Hands or something like that.

In that cold it has already effected your thinking. I will be out in the afternoon but in 30° F weather - I hope. good luck from the ground blind. I'l be up in a tree.

I've gotten 8 so far...and I'm still hunting...though not as hard now...and I know I'm nucking futz..LOL!!
