After removing my peep sight, the bow feels, and, sounds different after the release lets go, nothing extreme...it's more the sound that I notice most. Do you think string leaches would make a change for the better, or, ???

You would think you have less because you have less weight on string and less forward travel??? I personally would put silencers on any bow because they always help form a little to a lot but its always worth the 4 -6 FPS that you will lose IMO.

The peep must have been located so as to dampen one of the string's modes of vibration. There should be other locations on the string on which you could place a string silencer to dampen that mode. An STS might get it, too.
