Had my heart and money set on a Kodiak Outdoors Bow Logic, went and shot it again just to make sure and the tech at SW had me shoot the Tribute and Allegiance. Needless to say......I'm in the land of confusion. Not really confused which bow to get - but confused on how to approach my wife and tell her it's in my best interest as well as the wildlife I'm hunting, that I purchase a Bowtech

It is a tough choice. I've been a big Hoyt fan for many years, but my BowTech Tribute and Allegiance has me leaning in that direction. They are SWEET shooting bows.

Go with what YOU like, and Good Luck with whatever you choose!

You won't go wrong with the Bowtech. I have an old glory and it is my main bow. If you don't get it now you will down the road so you might as well jump right in and put a smile on your face!

Do the right thing and buy both at the same time. This way you only make her mad one time instead of twice. Thats what I call I'm just thinking of you.

I'm with Eros on this one.

My theory is that "it is better to ask for forgivness than to ask for permission."

Beside if you tell her that u bought two new Bowtechs, but make it sould like a stupid joke(which she wont believe), then she can never accuse u of lying down the road, LOL, works for me!

On a serious note, u really cant go wrong with a Bowtech. I absolutely love my Tribute and it is the nicest, quietest, fastest, etc bow I have owned.

Hope this helps,

J-

Just do it! I got in a little hot water for buying a Bowtech and a Mathews last year, but I did it at about the same time.....she'll only be mad at you for a little while. I just ebayed my Allegiance for what I paid for it, now I want a Max-4 Tribute or maybe an Elite..... but in any event, looks like it's doghouse time again!!

I agree. You are the Man of your house...You pay the bills (I think)...

Make her mad one time, She will get over it.

just do it ! you will find yourself sleeping with the BowTech catalog and being side tracked from your wife. Tell her you are doing it for the good of your relationship. You know the phrase "I did it for us"

I would ask my wife if we can fit it in the budget. If she says no, then when she goes shopping i get to say no to every little trinket and BS stuff that she wants. Also no new jewelry for her that i might buy as well, tit for tat. It goes both ways, im thankful that my wife and i can communicate well enough to see each others point of view and discuss it. I should ask if i can get another new bow :D

First go to SW and buy the bow. On the way home stop by the flower shop and get her a dozen roses. The roses will distract her and she will know you were thinking of her and not just yourself. Beside, the roses might be cheaper than the medication required to get rid of that awful headache she gave you.

Stick with the big 5

I tell everyone to stick with the bigger manufacturers for the simple reason of RESALE. Mathews, Hoyt, Bowtech, Elite, etc are high quality bows and when you go to sell it to upgrade you will get the most money from it. So if you like the Bowtech then get it, cause you wont get much from a Kodiak in a few years if you decide to upgrade. Just my own opinion. And its only based on if you have the money to afford the high end bows. IF you cant afford it then get the best you can with the money you have. Most Mathews, Hoyts and Bowtechs offer lesser priced models as well.

My wife never got seriously into archery. She never shot long enough to learn the different looks the bows have. That's why when I pick up my new Tribute this Saturday she will still think it's the same bow I bought 15 years ago. If she hasn't seen a difference in the last 8 I have had since then she won't see a difference in this one.:dizzy: Well maybe she will know if my smile is too wide. The one thing is I always sell before I buy. Too many hanging would give it away.

when I bought my 05 OG I was looking to buy a Hoyt ultra tech or somthing else. I went to SW to check what they had. I saw the OG and gave it a try and ended up buying it (the discount I got had to do alot with it also:embara: ). I really like it and don't regret it, but then again it hasn't blown:rolleyes: up in my hands:wink: , just kidding everyone , please don't beat on me for saying that (unless of course your one of the martin girls:darkbeer:).

I would go back and shoot them all again before you make your final choice, and take your wife with you. Tell her its like when she buys a new out fit, she has to try out more then one and its not always the cheapest one that she ends up buying.
