Good Afternoon Gentlemen....automan26 said:I couldn't believe my ears. I heard a shooting buddy of mine arguing with his wife about buying a new bow that he really needed. She was really on his case about it, but he stood firm and held his ground. No matter what she said, she still couldn't convince him to go right out and buy a brand new bow that very day.
If my wife ever spoke that way to me, I would be out the door before she finished her first sentence. (On my way to the nearest pro shop.)
WOW....Very interesting comments and perspective so far. If I may .........
I see a man who loves archery but also loves his family and respects his vow to take care of his family first. GOOD MAN!!!
It sounds like his wife is supporting him in his justification and decision to go get it right now, nothing more.
If they have a good marriage, and their budget can afford it, I am sure he will get the bow in time without any consequences.
Let's be sure of the proper wording.....was that NEEDED or WANTED a new bow?....there is a big difference.
Boyyyy... some of you must have had some "rough rides in your past".
"PREGO"....It's in There!!!!
