Hey gize n' galz----just got an e-mail from a friend of mine at the IBO World, and here are some leaders, and scores so far from yesterdays shoot :

Open Pro 1st---Tim Gillingham 206

Women Pro---Samantha Kline and Alicia McHenry tied for 1st with 175

Senior Pro---1st Bill Campbell 195
2nd Louis Zanatackis 192
3rd George Dizon 191

He said it was the hardest, steepest shoot he has ever seen.

I would think a hillhumper would have an advantage there. None of the 3D's they shoot are on flat ground. :D

Isn't funny how a couple of years ago Tim was crying every five minutes about how judging yardage was to hard and not everyone can shoot 3D and so on. Now is is kicking everyones butt. See if he had of listened to us back then and practiced he would have started doing this a few years ago.

I'd sure like to have his "lucky" CONSISTENT winnings...especially the MONEY he has won so far this year alone....I'd bet it is close to $100,000....on LUCK? Not too likely.

Tim is on a roll...and right now....with only a few exceptions, NOBODY has been able to stay ahead of him on 3-D's...and then he is also very tough on the target venue to boot.

Tim's get 'er "dialed in".....of course, for this shoot, it is still early...who knows what is going to happen?

Elkhunter: I would love to be going to classic also, that is a great place to shoot. Next year Chuck, right now i am struggling alot, trying some new stuff in my form, and i think i will be getting alot worst before i get any better.

With Tim, and a few others, having such success using the "command detonation" release, we may have to rethink the BT method.
No doubt

IBO worlds

I talked to a friend of mine shooting semi and he said it was verry challenging, he called me after he got done with all 40 with a score of 383 and said the leader and second place guy (first day) both were in the 70's after 40. It was to soon to here who did what but the scores made it sound tough. As far as everything Tim has done this year, I beleive luck did play a role in it-a verry small role, his devotion, dedication and persistance is what gets you to the top , something some of us are lacking.
