I have a Vanguard hard-sided bow case. I'm looking for the best way to carry my release, allen wrenches, and other small items inside the case. I figured I'd ask here, before I just started hacking up the foam or drilling holes in the shell. Thanks.

For things like that, I usually have a field quiver for my arrows, so the allen wrench set goes in there, along with pliars, release, extra nocks and string wax.

If I need other items, I will bring a small plano box along.

If anything, I'd maybe get a plano box, cut a spot in your foam for it to go, and you would be all set.

i cut the foam out in the size of a small plano case with removable compartments. you can adjust the compartments to fit most of your small tools. attached it to the inside of the bow case with 3m velcro tape. looks nice and clean and its removable.

I also use the empty tubes that M n M's come in. They are great for small items like nocks, q tips, sight parts, etc.
