Another old find. My buddy bought many heads from an estate and this is just one but it is my favorite. He has six or eight of these and gave me one to add to the broadhead collection. What is it???

Mid 70s. Fred Bear knock off without the slot for a bleeder. There were lots of blister packs of these hanging on hooks in big box stores. Woolworth's, Grant's, Neisners, K-Mart, Wards, Sears, etc., etc. If they were sharpened, they'd kill.

This head was made by Ben Pearson and was called the "Deadhead" It came in two sizes 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 wide. When shot they often made a whistling sound. Killed several deer with this head back in the old days.
