I just want to extend an invitation for anyone coming for a hunt to New Zealand via Auckland to use our range to check your gear at no charge.
We are about 30mins from the international and domestic airports. Our range is 15yards long and we also have full workshop, string making facilities, etc... We carry an extensive product range which is probably of little use to a traveling hunter as if they are like me they will have plenty of gear with them.

We carry Mathews, Bowtech and Hoyt bows.

Our shop is Advanced Archery New Zealand, our address is unit 18, 31-35 Normanby Road, Mt Eden.
We specialise in bowhunting and would only be to happy to talk bowhunting over a coffee.

Cheers, Kevin

Hi Grander,

I mainly hunt fallow deer. They are great hunting and bowhunter friendly as they like to feed on bush edges. I have gone "American" this season setting up tree stands and a blind for the coming rut.
The peak is the 16th of April so not many sleeps to go.

That's a way nice offer and good to know for guys headed your way. I know when I was over there that was one of things I was worried about if something happens to my bow how do I get it fixed. We had targets at camp to kill time and check our equipment.

Good on you Rugby! Just from that offer, I would have to stop by at check out the shop if I were ever in your area of NZ. Plan to be there some day to hunt some reds. Just not sure when that day is yet:wink:
