I am going to hunt in Illinois for the first time this year. I am scheduled to hunt Nov. 15th-19th.

Is this the best time to hunt? If you had 5-days to hunt this year which days would you pick?

i would prefer the 3rd thru the 8th as the bucks are moving but the does are not bedding with them yet.The later it gets the more the does are standing. when the does stand they dont move as well

I usually start seeing 1 1/2 olds chasing in the last week of Oct.. I usually kill from Nov
4th to about the 13th.. They are running hard through those dates.

Those are my favorite dates. I know many prefer the week earlier, but not me, I have seen the biggest bucks consistently the week before shotgun season.
