Mine is a little bit too, but not any more than any other bow I've had. I've been on a couple hunts with mine and the bow gets knocked around quite a bit. I am not too worried about mine.
The finish on the limbs is a different process than the finish on the riser; that's why (according to Bowtech) the colors are different unless it is a black ops. I nicked mine and it looks more like a decal than a dip. The different process answer is really not a good excuse for the colors not matching with the science behind applied finish these days. It's just poor decision making at Bowtech.
You do not have "invelvet" finish on your limbs. That is on the riser only. The limbs themselves have an adhesive film protective outer layer, that's what you are seeing.
