I have to say the Switchback XT hands down, no questions asked. The Switchback XTs are going, used without accessories, for $550 at least on Ebay and production of them stopped several years ago.

Tributes are only going for $400 tops.

Hoyt's UltraMax is holding decent value as well.

So, what bow do you think is holding its value the best?

I was going to say the 06' Switchback. I have this bow and have been looking for another as a backup and they aren't cheap yet... lol

If the cam says "XT" then it is an Switchback XT.

If it says "C1" or "Cobra" then it is a Switchback.

The year your bow was produced can be determined by the serial number.

SBXT for sure.

That said, i have one with a Torqueless low wrist, comp nose in 27" / 70# if anyone's shopping. PM me. i decided i could use a few things more than a back up bow.

Bowtech Ally I sold my 70lb, only because i had to drop to a 60lb bow. if you see them for sale, on AT, and ebay, they get alot for them.

Next, The Pro- Elites from Hoyt also hold their value, that or an Apex 7.

I planned to mention the hoyt Proelite.

Another seems to be the Hoyt Ultramag. Granted, it was an entry level hunting bow in 2004/05, but a bare bow was $350 new then. They're going for $250-$275 at 4 years old.

The used bows that dealers have on there shelf. Because when you take a bow in to do a trade your bow is not worth much at all but theres if worth a fortune !! HAHA

It seems that the only bow that i have noticed that holds its value better then other comparable bows is the switchback xt.
