Hello, I need an indoor target to shoot at about 5-10 yards...to blind bale for the most part. I do need one that the arrows will NOT pass through...any suggestions? thanks E

In an apartment I would agree always better to be overly carefulBobmuley said:Whichever you choose, go ahead and put a 3/4" piece of cdx or mdf behind it...
Yup, I just bought a super duper, they are about 50-55 bucks.Mark250 said:Morrels Eternity bag or the new Morrells Wilfire Outdoor bag.

I shot at the Michigan State Championships way back in the early 80's. The club holding the tourney had this type of setup, but they used corrugated cardboard. It seemed to work really well, the arrows stopped, were easy to pull out, and stayed straight in the target, unlike excelsior <sp> bales where the arrow "cocked" when it hit the target. When arrows started to pass through they just tightened the nuts a little. When the cardboard wore out, it was cheap to replace. I have been contemplating making one for home.nuts&bolts said:That is probably the best picture I have seen of this style of home made target.
The 1/4-inch thick sheet foam insulation is blue
if its made by Dupont or it's pink if its made by Dow.
Some folks make the same thing with carpet scraps,
but that gets really heavy very fast. However,
the carpet versions can last years. Putting the frame
on wheels is an excellent idea.
