I am looking into purchasing a used Bitzenburger. I have found one identified as an "older model", called Perfection Magic Fletchmaster. My intent is to fletch straight with a 2° offset only. Would I be limiting myself with the older jig or would a more modern Dial-O-Fletch be better? I'm not sure of the functional differences between the old and new version Bitz and any idvice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I don't know anything about the older Bitz, but I have the Dial-O-Fletch and it's the best jig on the market.

Thanks guys... I wonder if the old Bitz only does 3 vanes, where the dial-o-fletch can do 3 or 4??

I agree, buy a new one, the customer service is worth whatever the diferance is in price. You will eventually need parts and the dial a fletch is outstanding and will last your grandkids a lifetime

Just bought a new one yesterday and was discussing the older style with my local pro shop. What he told me was that the older jigs don't have a wide enough "jaw" for the larger diameter arrows to rest in.
