Hi friends, I am a newbie of compound bow but do want to do bow hunting for a while. I bought a new bow and arrows, inserts, release and target yesterdy, the salesman just put a bunch of essential items together without too much explaination. After back home I used guerrila glue to put the inserts in and screw on the practise points, after several shots all 6 arrows tips stuck into the Hurrican 450 target, I tried and pull 3 of them out, 3 of them missed in the thick target bag, later I tried to glue again and shot again, I still met the same problem again and again. then I searched found the arrow shaft ID is .272, but on amazon I found most of are .244 inserts. Here are questions: 1, are all arrow ID different and how to find right inserts for them? 2, what happened to me is because the glue is not strong enough? or the target surface is too tight? or the inserts i bought is too small for the ID of the arrow shaft?
