I've heard some guys on here say if you cut both ends they're as straight as the xt's. I'm not for sure but is sounds reasonable.

I don't think it will be that good, but it doesn't hurt anything either. I have started cutting my carbons to length that way though.

You'll get a couple of Expeditions in a dozen that will wobble a bit, but they become practice and fox arrows. But they may be one of archery's best value arrows, and they're a good way to see if the shaft will fly from your setup without going broke.

The GT Pro's are for serious dot and 3D guys, for the most part, for hunting, you'll never notice the difference.

plenty of Goldtip Expeditions on Ebay for sale. pretty good prices too. i just bought a dozen Traditional Hunter Goldtips for 45 bucks.
they can be found. just have to look a little harder. with Goldtip moving house its going to be crazy for a while..

cutting the nock end will improve the straightness factor. i shot some ultralight 22 series last year ( .005 ). we cut 1 inch off of the nock end and then cut them to size for me. they are the best flying arrow i ever had. only problem was the weights were a little off. i had to use a little extra care to get them all to weigh the same. but it wasnt that hard.

Shoot strong

i built some expedition hunters for my brother, and the heaviest and lightest arrow have a 2 gr difference. they fly and group great, in fact i cant tell the difference between them and Xt hunters, other than the price

good luck!
