So no one has commented on the new World Archery ORs seeding process. Top archers are seeded directly into the 1/16th.

We have complained for years that top archers are taken out early by the lower seeded archers. But what about the archers that need a few matches to get warmed up? I don't know the answer and was wondering what folks think about the new process.

Its important to have the practice provisions:
7.4.2.8 The scores of Individual athletes or Teams with byes or forfeited matches will not be recorded and they will advance to the next round. At World Archery Championships they may practice on the practice field or the unused portion of the competition field. For other competitions they may practice on the assigned targets unless another adjacent practice field is available.

But at the levels of competition the top 8 are in, the mental game and physical game are both equaly important. It's easy to warm up the physical game, but the mental game may require a more competitive "stretch" (sorry, had to say that).
