Ok ! I have my new 50# alien coming and would like to get as close to 250 grains as possible. I am getting older or just lazy and like to play with my toys. could you guys help me out with a type of arrow and spine that could work? I would like to stay above 50 grain point and feather fletch. Please let me know what your ideas or practical experience has been.
Thanks

We had a guy in our shop the other day with a CXL Pro 250 28.5" of carbon and a 100 grain pro point and 2" vane and it weighted in at 309 grains. So, yea it should be possible.

I'm hoping to do the same with the cxl pros this year. I was running all kinds of numbers and was shocked to see that shaft is lighter then anything else in the CE lineup.

Made some CXL Pro 150 yesterday at the shop. I think they where 26.5 80 grain nibb G nock with unibushing and micro blazers weighed in at 258.
It was a 50 pound 2011 bmxl 28.5 inch draw. I think the speed was around 312- 315, can't remember.
