If it is one piece than yes mushroom weights are legal. A two (or more) piece could be ruled in violation.

It is a home made weight. I got it on a bow I bought. I think it's washers glued and bondo . The ridges show because I just sanded the old color off and painted it orange. It is solid, you couldn't get it apart with a hammer.

With the wrist strap in between the weight and the riser it not legal under WA.

My guess is that if a judge can't tell, he can assume there is and disallow the weight.

Actually that is incorrect. There is a recent ruling stating that type of wrist strap is legal. Sixth attachment from the bottom "Shock absorbing material in barebow"

How much weight do you want?... I make Barebow weights from time to time, I make them out of solid stock, but I stair step taper them smaller toward the stab. Bushing, which I suppose makes the weight legal...Gets more weight out front that way.... A person can come up with some interesting weight designs for Barebow....Jim
