i shoot an lx (70,30) with beman ICSH 340, it is shooting bullet holes through paper. i fletched some of the arrows with a severe helical and the rest have an offset (both to the right). now i know they will impact at different places but the arrows with an offset as well as a bare shaft fly straight towards the target while the severe helical often wobble and when i pull my arrows the feathers are "ruffled" (all of them group well). now i know clearance is a non issue b/c i use a TT and am getting no fletch contact. i put the helical on them for my broadheads but i have better flight with the offset arrow. i guess i'm asking if severe helical on a carbon arrow (going 280+ fps) is bad?
thanks

Yes and no. I believe to much rotation force inhibits broadhead penetration, it also will slow the arrow down faster.
