Is it just me or is Tru Glo stepping up their game?

I have always looked at Tru Glo as a sort of Wal Mart brand (Not that there is anything wrong with Wal Mart or shopping there.) but have been impressed with some of their recent stuff. I just put a Tru Glo Carbon XS sight on one of my bows and really like it. I also have a Tru Glo stabilizer on one of my bows and really like it also. Maybe I haven't ever really payed attention but it seems to me like they are getting better.

Tell ya what, I've killed a ton of critters with a cheap-o TruGlo $30.00 Brite Site [that's not so bright]. It never broke on me even though it really took a pounding over the years.

I'm shooting a little higher grade TruGlo this year. Pins are plenty bright enough and the sight is like rubber coated.

I've owned my fair share of spendy sights and the the TruGlo has been just as good in terms of killing critters and back yard shooting.

Best of all, they are light weight, which is one reason why I went back to them.

Skeet.

I've been shooting a Truglo sight of one model or another for over 10 years. When I was younger and didn't have any money, it was a $30 Britesite and it never broke, never moved and was spot on every time I made a shot. Now I shoot a micro adjust model and earlier this summer during a FITA shoot at the state games, my Truglo out shot DOZENS of other more expensive sights. It even out performed most of the guys shooting scopes with lenses. For my money, they make a great sight.

IMO I think they have went from "el cheapo" to "wow thats a pretty nice sight".

Ten years ago I wouldn't have bought one but I just recently bought one for my daughter and it is great. Especially for the money.

I just got the archers choice range rover in a trade, I am really liking this sight so far. My only complaint is that it doesn't have micro adjust for the windage. But I can live with that. Also own the 5 pin micro brite(think that's the model name) have it up for sale right now. Really nice sight, just wanted to go back to a single pin.

They are a decent mid level sight... once you go to a real expensive sight (CBE, Axcel, Spot Hogg, Montana Black Gold, HHA) you will see the difference. But for their price range they are not bad. Fairly bright pins, decent features, you just dont get the crisp clean adjustments you do with the higher level sights. I went from a tru glo micro brite sight to my Axcel and its a world of difference. Also most higher end sights are aluminum truglo is plastic.

The Carbon XS has alot of features I couldn't find in a sight that I was willing to pay for. I especially like the way the fibers sit and that the light is right there on the side and not out front like a spotlight. Again, I realize there are other sights that have those features but hard to find at that price. Plus, it looks great!

Yes Truglo is a good brand in general. I love my Truglo Rival Hunter, but some of their sights sell for $15 dollars at Wal-Mart. You get what you pay for.

im not sure what your referring to... i googled Truglo Trouble Hunter and it directed me to the rival hunter. For the price of the Rival hunter new, you can get a used Axcel armortech on here for 10-20 bucks more. the wrapped mirco bright i had was a pretty nice sight... but it was a few years old and the fiber quality was not very bright... since that sight my dad has had 2 truglo's both had brighter pins then the on i had unless you put an artificial light on the fiber then they are equivalent. my Axcel has 5X brighter pins than my truglo and built better with better adjustments.
