Quit being lazy people...:thumbs_do

We all know this is a society that wants what they want right away, but, come on, take some freakin' time and do a search! So many threads on the front page that have been asked time, and time, and time before. Which broadheads to use? Come on, how many times have we been over this?!?!

Oh, and for you that are about to say, "But, new information comes out and so do new products and yada yada yada" why don't you add to a thread that has already been created on the topic, thus consolidating information to one place so you can find it (that means search function, brah) all in one place?

And yes, I did do a search before creating this thread, and didn't find a thread with enough vigor to deal with the spoon-fed who are currently wallowing in the wash of ArcheryTalk seeking information but being too lazy to seek it.

And, before you say, "This is America, I am free to do whatever I want." Think about it.

you should have just added to more vigor to the other threads instead of wasting space with a new one!

I don't mind..... atleast there is always plenty of action here and its not as dead as most other forums this late in the season. The AT folks ALWAYS seem to have plenty to say!

OK, OK, I guess I could do without the multiple anti-RAGE threads everyday!!! :D

I try to always use the search function, but unless you are very careful specifing exactly what you are looking for, you get a ton of useless threads. Anything from what broadheads to use to how to neuter a cat.

lets just shut it all down and make it a search forum from here on out...then i wouldn't have to read a stupid thread like this either......

A forum is a place people come to talk and BS, not really to just look up info. That would be boring.
That should be emphasized. :D

I do look at this place as more of a BS session...and just like a good session we are allowed to embelish it with each and every telling.

Bunch of lazy people waiting for a handout, next they will be calling for "thread redistribution" and higher taxes on those in the top 5% of post count:pukey:

While it does get old (especially when there are two or three threads with the exact same question on the front page) post count is what makes or breaks a site. People advertise on a site because they see lots of potential costumers visiting a site and posting. People running a site have to try and balance things IE To many stupid post and the old timers and more knowledgeable members stop answering and start leaving. If they try to cut down to much on the repeat posting the post count goes way down(bad) and newbies feel abused and they start leaving.

Then you have the Pee 'ing contest threads again to heavy a hand and poof, not heavy enough and the members you want around start leaving.

As for the search function well they suck on most sites, I don't know why but at a guess it is partially to keep people posting the same dumb question lol.

America may still be kind of a free country but this site is privately owned so you do not have any rights here other than what the owner(s) give you. So you have no Right To Free Speech here, as you'll notice the former members who are banned found out the hard way.

Would be nice if we didn't have to see the same repetitive post here day in and day out. I know some try and use the search function but most others seem to not bother and I get the feeling that some think they are the first who could have possibly thought to ask that question;)

For those who don't use search well some members will answer a question that has been asked ad nasium but if you look you'll find that those who do are a very few kind hearted old timers and the rest are likely newbies to the sport that haven't gotten jaded yet . Randy
