Has anyone here shot a Javaman Thanjavur or Eros recurve recently? How long did you have to wait for the bow and was it worth it? Too bad he doesn't have an inventory of bows ready for sale. What did you like/not like about the two models mentioned, or for that matter any Javaman model? Thanks.

Never shot either of those models but love the elkheart and helms deep. There is a reason he has such a long wait time. High demand!
Stick monkey, the website shows the Thanjavur only available in 58" or 60". I'm hearing it might be a 10-month wait, or longer, for a bow. Even the 54/56-inch Eros looks good to me. I like the horsebow-ish appearance. I've always preferred ASLs but this is a very attractive bow. Apparently the bowyer used to work for Shrew bows before branching out on his own. I've actually got a 54" Shrew Lil' Favorite but I'm switching hands and it's left-handed. Might sell off to a buddy.
It's a bow I have been interested in awhile and I am positive that it used to be available in a 62" ...I guess I just lost interest...62" is about as short as I was willing to go.
