Just wanted to open another thread to talk about the JX3 Hybrid. I was one of the original customers and now own two hybrids. A gen one and a gen two. I one stick climb with it and repel down. Now JX3 has their own sticks that has a top platform that works perfect with the hybrid. How many other people still hunt from the JX3 Hybrid and love it? I know I love both of mine. Comfortable enough to sit all day.

Love mine. It's so dang comfortable. You can sit all day in the thing. Recline back in the middle of the day & take a nap...LOL. Nice to just have the option to put up some climbing sticks & hunt.

I had one. Sold it and kind of regret it. May get another one at some point. It eliminated some issues I had with a soft saddle. Liked not having my knees in the tree and not having to use a platform. But with a soft saddle I like that I can wear it in and everything else can go in/on my pack. My issue with the JX3 was packing my sticks and other gear. Just couldn’t find a way that worked for me.

I still love mine. I use it occasionally but have primarily hunted out of my cruzr xc the last couple of seasons. Killed my last two bucks out of the xc. I hunt between forks in trees a lot so the xc just works better. If the situation allows it, I’ll pull out the hybrid. Haven’t killed out of it yet but will use it after I kill my buck on some doe just to get it some notches this year.

I find I like to one stick with saddles. JX3 makes their own sticks with a special top to help shoot around the tree. It also fits on the hybrid perfectly. This made the hybrid even better for me

I've been a saddle hunter for going on 30 years, had a Guidos web years ago and got the JX3 when it came out and it is definitely the most comfortable saddle out there imo. However they are not as mobile, take longer to pack out and can be nosier, these things keep me in my traditional saddles 90% of the time.

Really tempted to pull the trigger on one again. Had one last season but decided to sell it. Really need to stop doing that ha. I got some of the new Latitude Carbon sticks . I think using those will solve one of my issues with the JX3. They should pack better than my Novix sticks. I’ve also condensed things down to a fanny pack vs trying to sandwich a pack between the JX3.

Well found one used and got it for a good price IMO. Doesn’t have the ropes but I have an Oplux tether and lineman’s rope. Should be here tomorrow. I’ll look it over and make sure everything is in good shape. I’ll mount my Doyle’s on it and see how my new Latitude sticks pack on it. Will roll with my new Redhead fanny pack. It’s big enough to hold the essential stuff. Hoping to finally get out next week. It’s been warm here and now that a cold front is coming in I have to work this weekend.

Guarantee it’ll be more comfortable than anything that they offer. Also you can get a JX3 cheaper than their new Lockdown saddle when you factor in free shipping and promo codes that are floating around. Just add a climbing method.

Update. With the new sticks from JX3 it makes the hybrid even better. I am one sticking with the stick that has the top walk around piece and it is nice

I sold mine. Have been very happy with my cruzr xc. It was by far the most comfortable system out there. Was just too bulky for the places and way I hunt. Weak side shots were doable but required a lot of movement. Xc is plenty comfortable and I enjoy killing deer out of it.

The backpack straps are better. The little rubber grommets that sit on the seat are better. Also, all of the buckles are metal and not plastic. The entire package just looks put together better to me. But it is heavier.
