This will be our 4th year running kansas turkey hunting. Lodging and food will be provided this year.

our total stats over 4 years: 68 toms 6 jakes killed with only 2 hunts that didn't produce a kill.

fully guided: 4 day hunts, 2 tom limit, food and lodging provided. $800
we use multiple grounds in fully guided hunts on a wide variety of terrain.
(combo hunts available for both rio and eastern)

semi-guided: 4 day hunt, 2 tom limit, food and lodging provided. $600
1 to 4 grounds are used per hunt depending on the size of group, the time of year and the number of turkeys per property used.

the populations of turkeys on our grounds range in size of 50 to 300 turkeys in the fall/winter. in the spring, you will see these turkeys spread out into groups generally no larger than 50, often around 30 depending on the property. The easterns are generally a little harder to call than a rio and they don't do well with cheap decoys. The rio's can often be called from greater distances, up to 3/4 of a mile. Most of the grounds you will be hunting will have large open areas and the turkeys will get plenty of chances to catch you moving or decide if they like your decoy or not. hunting this terrain is very fun and different from other areas with thick cover. there is always a quick learning curve for everyone hunting this more open terrain that have not previously done so.

thanks for the email. we are located north of wamego ks. our area splits the rio's and easterns. we have the rio's in the high flat grass lands, easterns in the riverbottoms and timberland and mixes in-between.

your license costs 75, the first tag is 33, and your second tag is 23. ($131).

also as a side note, we are putting together a video right now for our 2011 season... it is going to be real good with lots of action. we are up to 14 toms shot at or killed and many more to go.

thanks for your interest in us.
