When I draw my XL back it makes a weird noise when it hits the draw stops...

It sounds like it is happening when the bottom peg hits the cable..

Is there a good way to silence this??'

This wouldn't be good for hunting...

Kind of a subtle twang sound....

Thanks

Do you have a Hoyt dealer in your area? If so I'd take it to them and see what they say. I know my XL doesnt make a noise when the cable hits the draw stop.

figured it out......

The Peg on the lower cam had shrink tubing on it that was kind of hard.....I cut it off and replaced it with a small piece of rubber peep tubing.

It is dead silent now!!!

You only hear that behind the bow when you are listening for it....I have stood next to and behind the string of a few 100,000s of shots from Hoyts with that peg and it isn't really noticable.

When you don't draw hard and fast into the cam it doesn't make a sound.....but ripping the bow back it does make a sound when it hits the stop.

I have drawn back on tons of deer within 15 yds with a Hoyt with that stop and never had one blink.
