I finnaly have enough money saved up for a new bow so I went to my local pro shop to try out a few bows. I really liked how the katera xl shot but when it shot it swung around in my hand. is that from tourqe? neither the bowtech captain or x-force dream season did this so im just wondering if it is because of hoyts grips and if anyone else has experinced this and if you found a way to fix it. it had the one peice wooden grip. also the draw length was too long so im wondering if that would cause the swinging.

Side Plates

Try using the 2 piece side plates and give us a holler back

I think that will cure your problem!!!

katera problem

I have a Katera xl and don't have this problem but I also shoot it as a target set up with dead center archery stabilizer, and side bars.... what is your current set up, are your cams timed correctly.... ?

torque

I have the same problem. Seems the grip is really sensitive. I will say that the draw length may be about 1/4" too long though. A paying attention to the grip helped a lot.
