Try this link. I use 30 grains of weight on the string and it matches the chrono at the local shop.

It would help to know your bow's IBO rating.

I shoot 70# 29" bow my arrow is 28" long and 400 grains on the nose. what would it do to my KE if i started shooting a 75 grain head instead of a 100 and how much speed would i pick up?

you would pick up maybe 5 -8 feet per second, your kinetic energy would go down 3 or 4 ft pounds.

Don't even worry about it, kinetic energy is completely overrated.

I am actually getting over 300 fps with a 400 grain arrow exactly at a 29" draw and 75 lb pull. getting 80 lbs of kinetic energy

I wouldn't,

What you gain in speed, you lose in KE but you also loose in FOC. Your better off with the 100 grain head.
