Just got back from my first trip of the season to Kentucky...Man was it hot...But the deer were moving on a very typical feeding pattern, and coming to the clover fields with regularity...This was our short trip but we managed to harvest two mature does and got a long look at one of our P&Y 8 pointers (from a distant of course)...
And I have to report, the first shot from my new Switchback was a beauty...25 yards on a 110 lb doe broadside...The arrow blew through on a perfect double lung and buried deep into the ground on the other side...It's backstraps for dinner tonight...!
