For the past month I've been testing this stabilizer. Each of us have different desires for our crossbows. For me, I want long range accuracy, smoothness, light consistent trigger(TT), quietness, very low hand shock, etc.... I've found that with my Excalibur 380 and 405 xbows with the Air Brakes and Dr Stirrup kit, solidly foam packed riser/stock, that I'm front end heavy. Although the XB75(380) and Optimizer/Duralyt(405) are comparatively heavy, even yet, the crossbows were still front heavy. These xbows were very quiet already; but this stabilizer solved 2 final goals for me: 1) balanced the crossbows and 2) made the crossbows even quieter.
The stabilizer mounts to the scope rail, and the 2 stabilizer bars are adjustable to fully forward or fully aft(as mine is on my depicted M380). Various sized weights can be put on the back of the 2 adjustable shafts.m
For those of us with front heavy xbows, this stabilizer will help the balance immensely. The reduced hand shock and noise will be the icing on the cake.
This stabilizer isn't for everyone but will certainly help a # of us. Don't count it out.

Very good point! It almost is. It will fit under the Optimizer with slight shaving on the cross strap. It can fit behind the scope if the forward ring is 2-3 grooves up and no modification would be needed. It needs <0.10" taken off the upper center part if put between the scope rail and the Optimizer rail.
