I am going to purchase a "larger" saddle platform for my Son. I have
narrowed it down to 3 platforms. Any feedback from the owner's of
one or more of these platforms would be greatly appreciated! I have searched
the forum and online. I can find very few updated reviews after a season of usage.

I am aware of a few other large platforms but for different reasons have narrowed it
to these 3.

1. Cruzr Seeker
2. Predator XL
3. Trophy line Mission

Thank you all.

I have the Trophy Line Mission - a little heavy - but it's rock solid. Really don't have any complaints regarding it. I have no experience using the Cruzr or Pedator XL. Think you should be able to find a few videos on YouTube that may give you some additional details.

I have the standard predator platform now and it works fine. For next year I will be getting the Cruzr platform with the angled front as I feel it will be easier on my feet when standing

Thank you all. I think all 3 will serve my purpose. I liked the angled Cruzr but I only found reviews
on first impressions and no later reviews after several uses. One of those reviews made a comment
about squeaking noise and the other was more positive. The Mission and Predator XL seem great with the exception of the extra pound on the Mission. Really the angle on
the Cruzr is the only difference I can see between the 3.

There is the LWCG KUHNERT'S AMBUSH
You could always buy a beast stand (or other preferred hang on...beast or LWCG might be the lightest), and take the seat off and use it like the others [Predator XL, Trophyline mission]
I do not see the advantage of the LWCG for the additional cost. The shorter post
seems to have a few advantages but not enough for me to purchase another
lwcg stand. I have the 1.0 but use it as a fixed stand. Really the additional
cost of the Kuhnert's is the main reason it isn't on my list. I do appreciate
your suggestion though.

Thank you.

This was why I was interested in the Cruzr. I like to lean off tree more than sit. I may
use it in situationswhere I don't have to pack in very far. Whenever my son isn't using it.

I will be switching both saddles and platforms to Cruzr next year. Nothing against the tethrd they have been great but I hear the xc is way more comfortable.

I have the predator XL and the trophy line EDP. I vastly prefer the EDP, it's quieter and feels more solid. I have also enjoyed that step on the top of the post a lot more than I thought I would.
I think I would prefer the EDP to my regular predator and may switch next year.
I believe they are close in size and weight.

Another one here for the Mission. I’m 6’3”, 235 and I feel solid on it. Silent, I can’t feel it flex or give even when standing at extreme angles on a “loose” tether. Probably my best hunting purchase of 2020. But I don’t have any experience with any other platform to compare it to and the weight doesn’t bother me.

I have had the mission and the cruzer Seeker platforms
The Seeker gets the nod in my opinion
Pros- plenty big, angle is really nice if you are leaning, packs better than the mission, I personally use rubber boots and never noticed any odd noises while on the platform.
Cons- it didn't cam as tight as the mission, it took more effort to really get it to bite.
The mission
Pros - plenty big ( almost too big)in my opinion, camed over tight.
Cons - not as comfortable leaning, almost too big so it didn't pack as good as the Seeker and probably not as well as the predator xl would either.
Both are solid platforms and both are plenty big. I was able to easily add and take off layers while on both of them which is why I prefer a bigger platform. That said I just traded my Seeker for a EPD. If I don't Iike it I will probably go back to the Seeker.

I started with a Hawk platform and went to a Tethrd platform and then went to the Cruzr Seeker. The bigger platform is by far my favorite. The Cruzr platform bites and cams over MUCH better than the previous two as well. I'm not bigfoot but do wear an 11 1/2 size shoe and hunting boots seem to take up more real estate and I appreciate the ability to maneuver easier.
