It really has helped my in alot of areas ...daily living.. with archery I used to wear contacts and they would mover and float around now I can see the target very crisp......

I had it done and love it! Don't know if it improved my shooting because I only started bowhunting after having lasik. The only draw back for me is it has made me very sensitive to light outside. I have to wear sunglasses even on overcast days :shade:. Even with that I'd do it again in a milli-second.

I had it done a week ago today.I WAS wearing glasses but NOT now:whoo:
the nest day I was 20/20 in my left eye and 20/30 in my right and it has gotten better with each day.I would say money well spent.like I said I wore glasses and they were a pain in the *** always in the way.if you need glasses get the lasik before spending the money on glasses or contacts.if you wear start to wear contacts you have to stop wearing them for at least 2 weeks before the surgey because they change the shape of the cornia.

hope this helps:wink:

Had LASIK done about 4 years ago. Eye sight was very, very poor. Now I have 20/15 in both eyes. I have had no problems with dry eyes, or light sensitivity. It was the best thing I could have had done for my eyes. My shooting hasn't really improved, because I had corrective lenses. I dont have to worry about losing a contact while hunting now. I would do it again if I nedded it.

PRK for me, used to be 20/500 always glasses or contacts. 20/20 now and no contact messes. Money well spent but do your research and make sure of the clinic/doctor/etc.

Good Luck!:)

I had it done 3 months ago. Now I see 20/20 in the left eye and 20/15 in my right eye. There was some dryness early in the recovery period but now its only slight when I wake up in the morning or on a windy day. I also have halos around lights at night... kinda bugs me but I can still see fine.. its better now than it was right after the procedure. Id definitely do it again.

when I started wearing glasses they were meant for reading.in the last couple of years my vision changed a bit more than just reading especialy my left eye.my left eye was unclear now past intermediate and my right eye was unclear just to intermediate.

so what I was told that lasik would improve my eyesight but I may still need cheap readers possibly to read.it's been only a week but when I walked out of the surgeons office I could read the time on my watch.right now I can read without reading glasses.each day gets better as the eyes heal.most surgeons will give you a free consult to see if your a cadidate or not or if it's worth doing now or wait a little longer.

the best answer I can give.hope this helps:wink:
