I want to pick up a new bow press. My local shop has the Last Chance Archery presses. They have the EZ press and the EZ press Deluxe. I don't need anything more than the EZ press, wondering if I can get by with the EZ Green. I don't know the difference between the EZ and EZ green, anyone?

This will just be for my son, myself, and friends here and there. Nothing commercial.

Yep, go to ArcheryDezign.com and look at his draw board attachment and hand wheel unless the crank is ok. I wanna get a wheel just haven't yet. Makes it easier to get press in and out. I run mine out to 39" on tape on press when I am checking weight and stops and such.

The only thing I don't like about the ez press is you have to get the extra attachment fingers to press the defiants. $240 is crazy for what they are. Biggest reason I don't own a defiant

Yes they are expensive but they can be used for other bowsmthat are also way past paralle. Like some of the Bear and PSE bows.
They are a must for any shop that uses EZ presses. We have 2 presses and two sets of extra arms. We could use a third one LOL.

The EZ Green has done everything I needed it too. Including taking a bow apart and replacing the limbs. I have several elite's in the house so I need to get a second draw stop finger. Would like to get the wheel and draw board but have not gotten it yet.

I have the wheel on mine... if your only doing one bow and not changing for size much... the crank is fine, if your doing different bows of different axle lengths a lot, the wheel makes it easier/quicker to change for the different bows

I built mine. Looks similar to a LCA, but there's only so many ways you can build an inline bow squisher.

Machined fingers from 5/8" aluminum.
3/4" Acme rod, with the last 3" on one end turned down to 1/2".
I turned fine threads on the last 2" of that.
Bought a hand wheel on Amazon and tapped the hole to 1/2" fine to match the shaft. Backed that up with a 1/2" Nylock.

Thing is MONEY. I even made the double hinge thing so I can rotate the press on two axis. With the Archery Design drawbord, I can hold full draw and rotate the bow.

With the draw board, I'm about $400 into the whole thing, and it's awesome.

If you've got the know how, I'd recommend building one for yourself. It was a fun project.
